JOB OVERVIEW
Solar States is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Residential Sales Manager to join our team of passionate solar experts. The Residential Sales Manager will be responsible for driving solar marketing efforts, overseeing a team of qualified sales representatives, and generating and closing their own leads. They will be required to quickly learn about Solar States’ products and financials. The Residential Sales Manager should be ambitious, outgoing, and detail-oriented. Their role is to lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals set in collaboration with management. We are looking for a self-motivated person who excels at working collaboratively in a growth-oriented environment.

DUTIES include but are not limited to:

  • Drive overall residential sales
  • Act as a company advocate
  • Help to set and meet sales targets
  • Oversee marketing and lead generation initiatives
  • Provide sales reports to the General Manager
  • Assist in recruiting, management, and training of new sales representatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven solar sales and management experience (4+ years preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent customer service
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple employees, projects, and competing demands

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The Residential Sales Manager will receive a base salary plus commission and bonuses. Solar States offers a competitive compensation program commensurate with experience. Solar States offers vacation time, sick time, paid holidays and health insurance. Solar States also shares profits with employees, depending upon company and individual performance. Solar States is a Certified B-Corp and employees are expected to understand how and why B-Corps are different from regular corporations.
