The ECG Group (ECG) provides expert consulting and design services for energy efficiency projects. We have specific expertise acting as the Owner’s Agent and Engineer-of-Record for the initiation, design, and management of energy savings performance contracting projects. Through our “Energy Performance Engineering” (EPE) Service, we have successfully worked as the technical liaison between Owners and Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) on over 100 energy performance projects that produced close to $1 Billion in energy conservation improvements. Our experts lend credibility, transparency, and control to the process and ensure the Owner’s interests are protected throughout every phase of the program.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of High School Engineering Intern, we’ll count on you to:

  • Under direct supervision, assists engineers in data collection, gathering information or documentation efforts.
  • Performs standard computations or analysis.
  • Assist in preparing drawings and visual aids. Performs basic survey work and receives close supervision on all aspects of assignments.
  • Possess basic oral and written communication skills and interacts with other staff.
  • Regularly attends meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in the Philadelphia School District
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
