PECO will be hosting a “Careers at PECO Information Day” for their local Community Partners to provide an overview of their recruitment process, and strategies to connect your constituents to possible PECO Careers.  During the day, PECO will discuss the benefits of careers at PECO, review processes to apply for positions at PECO, and present sample work experiences and demonstration on key roles at PECO.

In addition, PECO utilizes EEI (pre-hire testing) including TECH, SOPD and CAST (Construction and Skills Trades) Assessment tools for several of their key entry level trades positions.  The CAST is a battery of aptitude tests designed and validated to aid in the selection of candidates across a wide variety of construction and skilled trade occupations. The tests comprising the CAST battery include Graphic Arithmetic, Mechanical Concepts, Reading for Comprehension, and Mathematical Usage.  For those that would like to support and prepare their constituents for the pre-hire assessments, a Train-The-Trainer session for all Community Partners will be available.  Classroom instructors are highly encouraged to attend.
